Irish Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • 120 ml Benna Irish Cream Milkshake
  • 80g Benna cold Unsalted melted Butter
  • 140g self-rising flour
  • 50g cacao powder
  • 70g light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsps vanilla extract

 

  • 1 tbsp Benna Irish Cream Milkshake
  • 60g of powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.
  2. Add the butter, keep mixing, add the milk and mix until everything is well combined.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder and cacao powder. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the cake batter into a loaf tin and bake for 30 minutes on 180C. To make sure the cake is ready insert a toothpick in the middle of the cake if it comes out clean the cake is ready.
  5. In a separate bowl add the powdered sugar and milk mix well until it thickens and pour it on top of the cake.
