Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients
- 125ml of Benna Fresh Cream
- 250ml Benna Fresh Whole Milk
- 1 Benna Ġbejna tal-Bżar
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 200g cooked chicken breast
- 1 medium sized onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 medium sized chopped carrots
- 2 medium sized chopped potatoes
- 120g frozen peas
- 120g canned corn
- 120g mushrooms
- 100ml white wine
- 1tsp of curry
- 1 chicken stock
- Fresh rosemary
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a pan add olive oil, onion, garlic, carrots and potatoes. Sauté until tender.
- Add the peas , corn , mushrooms and chicken. Mix everything together.
- Add the wine a bit of water and mix. Add the curry, fresh rosemary,salt and pepper. Let it cook for a few minutes.
- Add your milk cheese and cream.
- This will take a total of 30 minutes of cooking.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking tray
- Cut the pastry into small pieces and layer your crust on top.
- Brush the crust with egg wash and bake for 20 minutes on 200C or until the crust is crispy and golden.
