Christmas Cookies

Ingredients
- 75g Benna Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
- 230g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsps vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 80g maple syrup
- 60g light brown sugar
- Icing sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix together the sugar, maple syrup, butter , egg and vanilla extract.
- Add the flour, baking powder and spices. Mix until everything is well combined and you have a smooth dough.
- Transfer the dough on a parchment paper add one more on top. Roll out the dough until itโs flat.
- Cut the cookies with a Christmas cookie cutter and place them on a parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes then bake for 12 to 15 minutes on 200C.
- Mix icing sugar and a bit of water until it turns into a paste and decorate.
