Coconut and Dark Chocolate Tart

Serves

Ingredients – Base

  • 100g Benna Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 120g shredded coconut

  • 120g quick oats

  • 3 tbsps cacao powder

Ingredients – Middle layer

  • 3 tbsp of honey

  • 120g shredded coconut

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients – Top layer

  • 100ml Benna Fresh Cream
  • 200g of Dark chocolate
  • Toasted coconut chips

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or blender mix together the oats, coconut and cacao powder until flour consistency. Add the butter and blend again
  2. Transfer the mixture into a tart tray and press firmly into the bottom. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. In a bowl mix the fresh cream, coconut, vanilla and honey. Transfer coconut mixture on top of the oat base. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate together with the fresh cream, Mix well and pour on to top of the coconut, add coconut chips on top and refrigerate for 1 hour.
