Salmon, Rice and Gbejna Patties

Ingredients

  • 250g cooked salmon (eg. 20 minutes with olive oil salt and pepper)
  • 180 g cooked rice
  • 2 sticks chopped spring onions
  • 3 tbsps mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of lemon pepper
  • 1/2 grated Benna Ġbejna tal-Bżar
  • 1 egg
  • Lemon juice
  • 60g plain flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven on 180C.
  2. In a large bowl add the salmon, rice, onions, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, garlic and lemon powder, fresh parsley. Mix well.
  3. Add flour, lemon juice and egg. Mix well until mixture is thick.
  4. Shape into patties and place them on a parchment paper with a bit of olive oil.
  5. Bake them for 15 minutes, flip them and bake for 10 more minutes
